FKG has strong finances

FKG is financed through membership charges, proceeds from seminars, advertising profits and project funding primarily from the authorities Vinnova and Tillväxtverket (former NUTEK). A member of the non-profit association FKG pays a membership fee, which is set at the annual meeting. At present, the fee is 0 Skr. Further, members are required to pay a service charge (deductible) to FKG - Fordonskomponentgruppen AB.

The charge has remained the same since 1995 and is set at a 20 000 Skr per annum set charge for producing companies plus a flexible charge of 0.01% of turnover yielded from the automotive industry. The flexible charge will not exceed 50 000 Skr. Service providing companies pay a set annual fee of 15 000 Skr. FKG has over the years built up a solid financial position.
